calc14 oz (398 ml) of canned PRIMO Chick Peas, drained
calc14 oz (398 ml) of canned PRIMO Red Kidney Beans, drained
calc14 oz (398 ml) can PRIMO Lima Beans, drained
calc1 small red onion, thinly sliced
calc6 oz of baby green beans, trimmed
calc2 UNICO Roasted Pepper Strips


calc4 tbsp of GALLO Pure Olive Oil
calc2 tbsp of cherry vinegar
calc2 tbsp of lemon juice
calc1 tsp of light brown sugar
calc1 tsp of chili sauce (optional)

Put the canned beans in a large mixing bowl. Add the sliced onion and mix together. Cut the baby green beans in half and cook lightly in salted, boiling water for about 8 minutes until just tender. Refresh under cold water and drain again. Add the mixed beans, onions and peppers.

To make the dressing, place the oil, cherry vinegar, lemon juice, sugar and chili sauce (if using) in a screw top jar and shake vigorously. Pour the dressing over the mixed bean salad and toss well. Leave to chill in the refrigerator until required.

You can also use any combination of beans in this salad. For a distinctive flavour, add 1 teaspoon of curry paste instead of chili sauce.
